C-SAW transforms continuous camera footage into objective behavioral data, allowing zoos to monitor animals 24/7 and identify unusual behavioral changes that manual observations may miss. This saves staff time while providing more systematic documentation to support welfare assessments and reporting. Our solution is an ML-based camera monitoring system that uses object recognition to automatically generate behavioral data and early welfare alerts. The system is designed to be fully user-friendly, requiring no technical AI knowledge or coding skills, allowing zoo staff to operate it intuitively through a simple interface.
