Stage Two is the first pan-European competition for the best startups spinning out of leading European universities representing over 18 countries. For this year’s competition, there will be over 40 startups nominated by 40+ university affiliated entrepreneurship centers and 3 wildcard startups participating. These early-stage startups will pitch their business models and innovative solutions to more than 50 European venture capital firms and industry leaders.
What to expect at Stage Two
Coming to you live from Berlin on Thursday, October 20th from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. CEST, Stage Two will kick off with a keynote, a panel on sustainability and pitches by the wildcard startups. Stage Two will continue Friday, October 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CEST with another keynote, panel discussions, and most importantly the semi-finals and final rounds of pitches.

Siemens presents a bootcamp and wildcard entry
By partnering with Stage Two, Siemens is proud to present a skilling bootcamp and a wildcard entry to this year’s competition.
In times of dynamic technological development with ever shorter product life cycles, it is becoming increasingly important to quickly turn new ideas into reality and bring them to market. In this 3-day bootcamp, Siemens Xcelerator for Startups will teach startups how to propel their business forward with workshops on Mendix, Solid Edge, and entrepreneurship.
In addition to the startups nominated by a university-based entrepreneurship center, Siemens is excited to sponsor a Wild Card entry. This wild card entry is a startup who has an innovative, profitable and sustainable Industrial AI solution. Three startups will be selected by Siemens and will give 2-minute pitch where a panel will decide who gets to move on to the semi-finals the next day.
